* This Porsche 911 was purchased from the Porsche dealership in Nairobi, Kenya, on November 2, 1984. The sole owner had very little mileage on the vehicle. He exported the car to Canada in February 2020. The car was serviced at Porsche Oakville in September 2020. The vehicle had 29,540 miles on the odometer. The total invoice from Porsche is $6,418.12 (invoice available).
We purchased the vehicle on December 23, 2021. The vehicle had 31,185 miles on the odometer. We drove the vehicle from Saint-Anne-des-Lacs to Laval on dry pavement in cold December weather (-20°C). The vehicle drove wonderfully.
On September 6, 2022, we had the engine lowered to replace the clutch, spark plugs, wiring, distributor cap, and fuel filter. They performed a complete engine wash and repainted the indicated areas. Cost of work: $4,500 (invoice available).
On September 19, 2023, we had the vehicle's computer remanufactured through VAG Motorsport. They also updated the air conditioning system with new freon. Cost of work: $2,000 (invoice available).
The car is in excellent condition. It will be 40 years old next September.
We performed the SAAQ out-of-province inspection. The vehicle is compliant and has its Quebec sticker.
